CHALLENGE
I was approached by the team leading the campaign for MaryBeard’s new title to produce bespoke illustrations. These would need to be blown up to life size proportions, and so it was essential to make sure the quality of drawing as at a adequate size. There were also some limitations with one of the chosen emperors to draw, as there was not full body statue to reference.
SOLUTION
4bespoke illustrations were produced of Roman Emperors Augustus, Hadrian, MarcusAurelius, and Elagabalus, as chosen by Mary herself. These were drawn digitally by myself on Procreate and printed in different sizes for the launch party and as POS materials used in Waterstones nationwide.
RESULT
My work had viewership nationwide in Waterstones displays and was shared on Mary Beard’s social media,who has over 300,000 followers.
